Trade fair
You will be used by us at a trade fair in Germany. Please check your route to the trade fair and use the stand number to check your direct place of work. Your supervisor will take care of your admission ticket and hand it over to you online or by hand.
Working hours
Working hours begin at the exhibition stand.
Work clothes
Wear clean and neat work clothes, elegant black trousers and a shirt or blouse. Your shoes should also be well cared for and have a comfortable fit, as you will be standing most of the time.
Training
In consultation with us, the customer takes over the initial training at the trade fair stand and informs you about sequences, important work steps, the team and / or goals to be achieved during the trade fair. You must take part in this training as it is a condition of employment.
Communication
Communication at the trade fair stand should always be professional. You are not allowed to discuss your salary with either the client or your colleagues. Private information about your environment or your relationship status should be avoided.
General rules
Smoking, private phone calls and listening to music are not permitted during working hours. You are also strictly prohibited from exchanging personal data such as telephone numbers, addresses or social media accounts with the customer. Breaks must be agreed with the exhibitors and recorded digitally. Your working time must be started digitally at the place of work and ended when you leave the stand.
Security
In the event of an emergency, please observe the escape and rescue plans on the exhibition grounds, as well as the emergency call plans at the exhibition stand and in the respective exhibition hall. Ask your local supervisor if you have any questions before starting work.

1: Start your work
Use the check-in provided to start your time recording.
2: Work clothes
Go to the changing area and put on your work clothes.
3: Work area
Go to the customer and introduce yourself. Go to the work area assigned to you.
Catering + Service
If you are assigned to the catering area, your tasks are varied.
These include
Bar area
You are assigned as a bartender who prepares hot and cold drinks. You will also be responsible for cleaning all surfaces and clearing empty cups and glasses. At the end of the working day, you are required to clean the coffee machines, dispose of waste and clean all surfaces, replenish napkins and consumables so that everything is ready for the next day of the fair.
Service
If you are assigned as a service employee, you will work between the bar and the catering area and serve the guests directly. Your tasks include taking orders and passing them on to the bar staff, or optionally preparing them yourself. It may also be one of your tasks to serve food or prepare small finger food plates and bring them to the guests. Cleaning all surfaces, clearing tables and disposing of garbage at the end of the day is also part of the job.
Dishwashing assistant
Your tasks as a dishwashing assistant are limited to cleaning plates, glasses and cutlery. If there are dishwashers on the stand, it will also be your job to fill and empty them. The sink area must always be neat and tidy, so you should clean the floor and mop the surfaces several times a day.

Reception + info desk + accreditation
If you are assigned to the guest management area, the following employees will be deployed:
Reception hostess
Welcoming and accrediting guests at the trade fair stand is one of the main tasks. You should have a confident manner and speak good English. Booking meeting rooms in consultation with the client may be one of your additional tasks.
Foreign language hostess
In this area of responsibility, you will be deployed directly as a translator in meetings and have direct contact with customers and their visitors. Perfect business English and another native language are required here so that you can provide the customer with the best possible support.
